Hey there! Maddie and Jenni here as your co-founders of RIZEN Moves! We are two Eastern Michigan University Dance Alumni with a passion for improving the lives of special populations by utilizing our talents and education.
Madeleine Mortier

Madeleine is a proud graduate from Eastern Michigan University with a B.S. in therapeutic recreation and minor in dance. Madeleine is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and has experience working with a variety of populations. Madeleine completed field work in mental health and psychiatric facilities, long term-care and over 4 years of working with participants with disabilities in therapy centers and the community setting. Madeleine was captain of Eastern Michigan University’s dance team as well as taught dance of all ages throughout high school and college. Today, you may find her visiting with family or exploring a new leisure pursuit. Madeleine loves sharing her passion and career with others especially those eager to learn a new activity, dancing.
Jenni Johnson
Jenni is a proud graduate from Eastern Michigan University with a B.S. in buying & merchandising and minor in dance. Jenni has experience working with special populations, including children and adults, through various volunteer work. Jenni was Treasurer and a performer for Eastern Michigan University’s dance program as well as taught dance of all ages throughout middle school, high school and college. Today, Jenni lives and teaches in Indiana, but you will find her frequently visiting family and friends in Michigan, along with traveling to all places tropical. Jenni loves sharing her passion for dance with others especially those eager to get up and move!
